"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week in 2014."

Smith, you are one smiley little handsome man!  Our favorite game in the mornings is "what can we do to make you smile" and man, do we do some silly things.  You are such a happy baby and make your mama and papa so very happy!

Drink Up

Now that I can drink again, here are a few cocktails I want to try.  They all look a little girly, but hey, I'm a girl!

Smith, you were one month old yesterday and this mama can't believe it.  (We snuggled and napped with you most of the day to make up for the fact that you are growing up way too fast.)  You're becoming more alert and sleeping for 4 hour stretches through the night.  You're also becoming quite the wiggle worm. Your favorite nap position right now is on our chests, and even though you are a little "hot box", we're not complaining one bit!

My little Valentine!  Smith, you made this Valentine's Day the best ever.  You are already such a stud.

Hats to the Rescue

Are you into wearing hats?  I am becoming more and more of fan these days.  (Mainly because it's a rare occasion that I fix my hair!)  But I guess I can count myself lucky that there's so many stylish options out there now.  And who doesn't like to pile on multiple layers to brave the cold and then top it off with a wide brim hat?

This style above is exactly my jam.  It's simple but obnoxiously quirky at the same time.  I could rock that outfit everyday as well...hat, neutrals, and an oversized clutch!  (I need that clutch!)

"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week in 2014."

These little toes just put me over the edge this morning.  They are the cutest things I've ever seen, and I can't stop kissing them.  Smith, you are too adorable for this mama!
