I sure am - and it's a long one on top of that! Can't wait to lay back with friends and the hubby. (He'll be back this weekend from a week away. I know it's not that long, but when you live with someone everyday, it's kind of a shock to the system to have them gone.) Yipee!

Today is a very special day in our family. It's my mom's 50th Birthday, and we are going to have a rockin' bash tonight to celebrate. I could not ask for a better mother, friend, care-giver, provider, supporter and absolutely everything else you could think of over the years.

I have to admit - I'm not so much the HGTV-girl as a lot of design fanatics are. It's just a little too boring for me - sorry! But, I will say that Secrets from a Stylist is right up my alley. I mean, so much so that I absolutely love everything that Emily Henderson touches. (I am secretly obsessed and am dying to work with her!)

Have I mentioned that I am dreaming of my very own home office? Ok, ok - I know I have like 11 thousand times now, but I do! And I couldn't imagine anything better than this eclectic, baroque one above.
Is anyone as obsessed with oats as I am? I'm telling you - I could eat granola and oatmeal cookies all day long. And I try to tell myself that it's somewhat healthy, but who am I kidding? When you eat a ton of oatmeal cookies, it kinda brings the health factor down a notch.
Oh well, sneaking more fiber in your diet any way you can is always a plus! (That's the diet tip for the day!)
