Paris...Oiu, Oiu

Oh, Paris!   How I dream of thee!  And for some reason, you're all I can think of lately.  The romantic strolls, the impromptu lunch dates, the wine that never runs dry, you sweep me away just thinking about your joys.

Who knows what prompted this love affair? (To tell you the truth I've always been an Italia girl...until recently!)  But here I am, head over heels in love with the city of love.  I am longing for a trip to make my dream a reality.

All Things Pink and Lovey Today

All things pink and lovey dovey today because it's Valentine's Day, you know!  And I wouldn't want to spend it with any one other than my man.  He is my one and only, and there aren't enough words in any vocabulary to express just how much I love him.  He makes every day better!

Valentine Wrapping

The week of love is upon us, and I can't help but be giddy.  I know Valentine's is typically a "spoil your lady" kind of holiday, but I always like to do/get a little something special for the hubby.  (I'm a complete sap when it comes to love!)

And this year I might even try this cute wrapping paper idea?  (Love it so much!)  And even though it's probably more for me than the hubby (he doesn't get as excited about package presentation as I do) I know he'll enjoy it.  (It's the thought and effort that goes into a present...right?)

Dan and Me

While we were at my parents' house for Thanksgiving, I had the brilliant idea to go out in the backyard and take some pictures.  (The hubby wasn't as willing as I was, but he obliged as any loving husband would.) 

Although most of the pictures (small sampling above) turned out goofy and odd quirky, they happen to be some of my faves!  (I would so use that first one as our Christmas card if the hubby would let me, but he's not as big of a fan as I am.) 

I love that it shows Daniel's goofy side.  (Don't let that gorgeous face fool you, he's a full fledged goofball 98% of the time!)  A lot of times I complain that he's "always joking around" and "not taking things seriously," but the truth is that I LOVE that he makes me laugh so much.  There's not much that can turn your bad day around like a good 'ole belly laugh with your best friend and love of your life.

This Guy

I am in love with this guy.  Head over heels, butterflies in your stomach, jump up and down in love with this guy.

This past weekend, we had a great time just hanging out.  Man, do I love just hanging out with him!  I love the everyday errands and the quiet times on the couch with this guy.  I tend to take for granted all those little things that mean so much.  All those dinners we cook together, all those walks we take together, all those lazy nights where we don't get off the couch together.

Those are the great moments.  Those are the grand moments.  Those are the moments where you know you're in love . . . and man, oh man, am I in love with this guy!

Love

Now isn't this just the cutest thing.  It takes me back 8 years ago when two 19 year olds feel into a young love.  A young love that then turned into a deep, true, never ending love.  A never ending love that then turned into a marriage.  A marriage that then turned into life, my life.

I can't believe it's been 8 years, but I consider myself blessed every single day.

Chicago Bound

We are off to Chicago tomorrow for our 3 year anniversary - yippee!

I can't believe our trip is already here.  It just seems like yesterday when we were booking everything.  But what's even more unbelievable is that our 3rd Anniversary is already here!  Seriously - we've been married for 3 years?!  Time flies when you are in love!
