Traveling Fools

This past weekend, the hubby and I took a road trip to west Texas.  (I hate being in the car!)  And to all you out there who haven't been to west Texas and are wondering if its everything you imagine it to be - yes, it is!  If you imagine it to be dry, windy, and hot with tumble weeds and dust devils - then you are spot on.  I was reluctant to admit that I liked this environment at first, but each time we go back, it grows on me little by little.

And as to me hate being in the car, I'll have to say that this trip wasn't half bad.  (How can it be bad when you are singing at the top of your lungs every Adele song you have on iTunes?)  I can't complain.

The Drive

Driving...not my favorite thing.  But I made it and was able to get some pretty cool pictures along the way!  Here's one from the drive back home.  (Believe it or not, it wasn't even that stormy!)

On the Road

We are on the road to Granny's house.  (How classic is that?) And yes, we'll be headed to the desert - West Texas!
