Painted nails are capturing my obsession as of late, and I think I might just have to go get a manicure. (I'm not really a manicure/pedicure type of gal, probably because I'm too much of a perfectionist. If a little chip happens to show up, I have to take all the paint off. Yes, I know that's probably a little too OCD, but what can you do?)
I'm really loving short, bright nails that look so fresh and modern for Spring. Give me classic red, poppy pink or rich burgundy, and I'll be a happy gal!
First of all, I love all the texture and character in the room above, but check out that ceiling! It seriously takes the room to new heights (no pun intended.) Add it to the wish-list, along with that chandelier!
I love grouping little bits together to "form" a space - such as dishware and magazine stacks with accessories. Now doesn't that look better than having everything thrown about?
I love how this living room is so structured and yet bohemian at the same time. The simple couch brings a good base to the whole room. And that rug! Perfect bohemian accessory - love!
Amanda Seyfried in Interview Magazine - sublimely romantic! I am a fan of both Amanda Seyfried and Interview, and let me tell you, they don't disappoint!
The mantle is one thing our little abode is lacking. But if it did exist in the Clay household, I imagine it would look a lot like the visions above: white, quirky and simple. (A lot like the rest of our house!)
And I believe I have mentioned before that I am longing for white-washed brick. Anywhere! Everywhere!
Yes, I'm obsessed! There, I have admitted the obvious! BHLDN (pronounced "Beholden") is Anthropologie's version of a wedding boutique (launched February 14th) and man, oh man, did they nail it!
I am a lover of all things Anthropologie and am completely over the moon that they finally (FINALLY) ventured their way into the wedding-shere. My only compliant - they are 2 years too late! Why couldn't BHLDN existed when I was getting married?! It's alright - I'll survive! My wedding was mostly comprised of all things Anthropologie anyways! I'm still dreaming of that 2nd wedding extravaganza for one of our anniversaries! (Or all of them!)
I would take each and everyone of these dresses and hair accessories, and the styling is perfection!
Yes, our allergies have taken a beating, the weather cannot make up it's mind, and we are all anxious for the sun to stay longer than a weekend! Spring is upon us, and oh how beautiful the potential could be!
I am definitely more a Fall person, but I was so inspired by this fashion shoot by Stockholm Magazine, that it could be drawing me over to the "Spring-side." No, not for good, but definitely for a season!
I have been drooling over this trend for a couple of seasons now and am re-invigorated by Dries Van Noten's fresh take for Fall 2011. I'm hooked! On the to-do list today - head out to get me some fresh, psychedelic print socks!
To most, a lavender couch sounds so outrageous. But to me, it seems perfect. (If you haven't picked up my style yet, you should know that I like a bit of quirk added to the mix.) This color and style are a perfect match!
